Hospitality Associate

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Greeting, receiving and engaging visitors and families during services and ceremonies

  • Telephone, light housekeeping/hostess and administrative/clerical assistance

  • Assist with inventory control procedures

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a high school degree; excellent communication skills with the ability to speak intelligently, efficiently and effectively with clientele; demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain strong attention to detail; and ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs. and stand for up to 5 hours.

Funeral Service Associate/Courier

 

This part-time position is primarily responsible for providing support for the Funeral Service, Administration, and Hospitality departments with both onsite and offsite duties. Driving responsibilities also included.


Primary Responsibilities

Conduct pick-up and delivery services for documents, packages, supplies, and personal items to and from a variety of recipients including, but not limited to: families served, City/County offices, hospitals, religious organizations, etc.

Assist with set-up of visitations and funeral ceremonies, both onsite and offsite

Greet, receive and engage visitors and families during services and ceremoniesAssist with inventory control procedures

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a high school degree; excellent communication skills with the ability to speak intelligently, efficiently and effectively with clientele; clean driving record and background check; demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize and maintain strong attention to detail; and ability to lift and move 50 lbs. and stand for up to 5 hours.

 Full-Time Maintenance Specialist


This is a full-time position using a fluctuating workweek and includes every other weekend.

This position is primarily responsible to oversee, direct, coordinate and perform necessary duties to assure proper maintenance and repair of company-wide facilities and grounds assuring standards and practices.  Also, will engage and oversee the services of designated outside service providers. This full-time position is primarily responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of all company facilities ensuring clean, attractive, and safe conditions. Additional duties may include assisting licensed staff by providing funeral service support for family client services. The appearance and condition of our facilities plays a vital role in the delivery of a premium experience for our client families and our guests, and you will help to directly impact this important first impression.

Primary Responsibilities

  •  Maintenance of all company facilities including, but not limited to: overseeing the housekeeping functions of all facilities and performing or assisting in performing these duties, as necessary
  • Operation of tools and equipment for the efficient upkeep and maintenance of property grounds in supplement to the professional lawn service
  • Minor building and equipment repair
  • Maintenance of company vehicles according to established procedure to ensure clean and ready condition
  • Provide designated assistance in support of professional services before and after services/ceremonies including, but not limited to: set-up and disassembly of ceremony space, loading and unloading of equipment, and transportation duties

 Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess: a high school diploma or GED equivalent; three years previous experience in building and grounds service maintenance; a valid IL driver’s license and clean driving record; and the capacity to follow verbal and written instructions. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, and carpentry preferred.
