Butler Funeral Homes was so GREAT with my Grandmother and Step Grandmother....which is why we chose them to take care of my Mom when she died.....Sadly....Butler was a MAJOR disappointment from the day we contacted them...my Mom died in Florida..Long story short....My Dad talked with Sarah....once my Mom got home...we got handed off to a newbie that didn't have much of a clue....But she and her associates at the burial site didn't have a problem laughing it up!! Chris Butler was an upstanding member when my grandparents died...sadly...it all become about the money....as it has been posted he's sold out like all the other funeral homes to some company down in Texas....

Dear Butler Funeral Home Family I want to thank you for the donation to the Butler Community Endowment in honor of my husband. We both have always tried to support our community, especially in these times, so I very much appreciate it. I also want to say again how much i appreciated the support your staff gave us, especially Katie Wilson. She really helped me get through this. I couldn't have a better helper. I was also happy with the Celebrant- she did a great job!

I can’t thank you enough for the direction you gave me and the patience and kindness you showed me. I had never even been to a “real” funeral before, let alone been given the task to plan one. I was lost, grieving, and without a clue. I thank God that when I needed help the most, he sent me to Butler Funeral Homes.The entire staff went above and beyond and I now know what it means to honor someone’s life, simply and with incredible meaning. I pray that that time will pass slowly before my family needs your services again, but I know that when we do, you will be there with kind words, helpful advice, and gracious hearts. Thank you.

I can’t thank you enough for all you did for my family after the passing of my mother. It was sudden and we weren’t prepared for it. Though I suppose that it is always hard to say good-bye no matter how prepared you are. The professionalism and caring by your staff helped to make that time a bit easier for us. The children were even given the opportunity to attend a STAR class to help them understand what they would be experiencing. I’ve never heard of a program like this—we were so grateful that it was available for them. Her ceremonies were beautiful, just as she was, and the special touches were extremely meaningful. We were especially touched by the Chicago Cubs display and keepsakes you provided for everyone in attendance. She would have been tickled, as she was one of very few Cubs fans in a Cardinals-loving family. Thank you again for everything.

We lost our best girlfriend and she couldn't have picked a better place to hold her service.. they were so kind and when we went to complete our girlfriends hair, makeup and nails prior to the service, they showed so much compassion to us and yet gave us our space and we were able to say our Seesterly goodbyes!!!
